Career Paths

Conscious career planning begins with self-reflection and knowledge of the opportunities. At the Potsdam Science Park and in the region, there are various career paths you can take – at the research institutes, at the local companies, as a founder of your own business, or at NGOs, ministries and public authorities. In Teaching & Research

At the Potsdam Science Park you will find concentrated excellence: three Max Planck Institutes, two Fraunhofer Institutes, the Brandenburg Main State Archive, as well as the Golm campus of the University of Potsdam. These institutions regularly advertise positions in research or science transfer. In addition, many of the resident companies also advertise research-related job openings. In the Industry

The Potsdam Science Park is currently home to around 30 companies and startups that employ up to 35 people. Interface competences and expertise are equally valued here. In addition, new companies and startups are already in the starting blocks. Exciting job prospects emerge on a regular basis.

As a Founder

It takes many individual steps to transform one’s research idea into a company. The idea as well as the personal values and goals must be put through their paces. Our workshops as well as our Startup Academy will support you step by step in finding your personal path to self-employment.
