Brandenburg has lot of sees and lakes. Official bathing sites at lakes and water areas in the region you find here . The following bathing places are easily to reach from Golm:
The bathing area at Großer Zernsee in Golm is located directly next to Gut Schloss Golm. It is a small bathing place with a sandy beach, the water is shallow. The Großer Zernsee is a widening of the river Havel, so you can swim here in a largely natural river. From Thursday to Sunday you can also enjoy coffee and cake next door at Gut Schloss Golm. The bathing area can be easily reached by bike from Golm and Eiche. map

The Heiliger See is Potsdam’s most popular bathing spot. The Heiliger See is located in the middle of the city surrounded by villas and the park of the New Garden with a view of the Gothic Library and the Marble Palace. Here you can take a break after a walk along the Havel river. The area offers a big sunbathing lawn inside the park. Access is through the park or via Tizianstraße. From Golm you can take bus 606 and tram 96 to the Glienicker Brücke. Neaby on the north lakeside there is another one, which is preferably used by nude bathers. map

Lake Raft Tours
A raft (or houseboat) tour with family or friends is something very special. Most rafts can be driven with a driving license, although parking requires some skill. There is usually a fridge and grill on the raft so that you can fry your sausages on deck as you float from lake to lake.
Enjoy splash competitions in the water at any time—just drop the anchor and jump in!
Wakeboarding at Lake Templin
Whether you are a beginner, advanced, or professional, at MAGIX anyone can learn or improve their wakeboarding. Wakeboarding offers balanced training and physical fitness, but most importantly it is fun!

Yoga fans– pay attention! Take the challenge and test your yoga skills on a Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP). Besides the pleasure of exercising in nature, your body will be happy with a new balancing challenge.
Afterwards, you can take a lap around the lake with your rented SUP.
