Site Management
We are there for you! We are committed to the future of the Potsdam Science Park. We promote the expansion of the infrastructure, the establishment of companies and the transfer of research. We are passionate about organizing events for our community and creating an environment in which networking between research and companies is a matter of course.
Standortmanagement Golm GmbH
Standortmanagement Golm GmbH was founded in 2008 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of GO:INcubator GmbH. The goal was to further expand the research park, which at that time was known under the name of Wissenschaftspark Potsdam-Golm. The interests of all institutions at the park were bundled together to more effectively increase awareness of the park beyond the borders of Brandenburg. In January 2018, the new stakeholders, the state capital Potsdam (51%) and the University of Potsdam (49%), acquired the parent company of Standortmanagement Golm GmbH and set new priorities.
Feel free to contact us! We are happy to answer your questions regarding:
- Linking your company with the scientific community

- Available spaces for sale or rent in the Park
- Informational events and available space for entrepreneurs
- Site Tours
- Events and Conferences
- Assistance through our Welcome Service
- All other topics related to the expansion of the Park
Park management has been carried out by Standortmanagement Golm GmbH for over 10 years.
Our Network
Funding from the European Union, the State of Brandenburg and the City of Potsdam
A large three-digit million amount in EU funding has been channelled into investments for infrastructure, research and development in the Potsdam Science Park since 1993. The site management itself is being supported by a current funding project for the years 2023 to 2025 from the directive of business-related knowledge and technology transfer of the European Regional Development Fund and from state funds with around 750,000 € per year.
The aim is to strengthen the innovative power of the Potsdam Science Park, implement the innovation strategy of the state of Brandenburg and sustainably promote value creation in the region.
The earmarked grant is intended to ensure the realisation of the following key tasks:
- Location profiling: Increasing the visibility of the Potsdam Science Park and sustainably strengthening the attractiveness and future viability of the location
- Opening up the location to knowledge-based companies with an innovative focus: Promoting the joint use of resources and providing needs-based support and networking formats
- Transfer for science and business: Promote innovative start-ups and networking with SMEs, business and science and increase transparency about regional players
- Improve collaboration structures (location, regional, international): Initiate external collaboration of the Potsdam Science Park with various stakeholders and create openness for social encounters
Grant from the state capital of Potsdam
The state capital of Potsdam is also supporting Standortmanagement Golm GmbH with a grant of EUR 50,000 per year, initially until the end of 2023, as part of project funding to promote the appeal of the Potsdam Science Park.
This grant is intended to provide targeted support for settlement and development projects in the city of Potsdam, to ensure individual advice and support for interested parties, investors and companies and to develop sustainable business areas and services for special user groups.
