The State of Brandenburg Is Boosting Funding for the Potsdam Science Park in the 2027/28 Two-Year Budget

The State Government Plans to Increase Funding for the Potsdam Science Park to 750,000 Euros a Year from 2027.

An important signal for Potsdam as a centre of innovation: in the draft 2027/28 two-year budget, the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture has earmarked increased funding for the Potsdam Science Park. As Brandenburg’s largest innovation centre, the Potsdam Science Park is set to receive 750,000 euros annually from 2027 onwards. At the same time, the state is reaffirming its support for universities and research institutions, thereby prioritising investment in science, innovation and future technologies.
