For parents a childcare facility, which is located close to the office, is essential to easen everyday´s challenges. The Potsdam Science Park is located close to the districts Potsdam-Eiche and Potsdam-Golm, which offer both kitas and elementary schools.
Kita / Daycare for Children aged 0 - 6 Years
A Kita or Kindertagesstätte is a type of preschool or daycare centre for children who are under 6 years old. Every child in Germany is entitled to a place in a kita with up to 6 hours of care every day. Please contact the city hall and fill in a “Rechtsanspruch Kindertagesbetreuung – Erstantrag”, if more caring hours are needed. Please find below kita´s close to the Potsdam Science Park.
FRÖBEL Kita "Springfrosch"
The FRÖBEL kita “Springfrosch” is located directly in the Potsdam Science Park. It offers loving and competent education, upbringing and care for 120 children aged 8 weeks to school entry. It is a bilingual kita and very international as most scuíentists from all over the world bring their children to this kita.

Kita "miniMeter"
The kita “miniMeter” in Potsdam Golm offers space for 129 children from 0 to 6 years. In the three-story building with large windows and green facades the so-called “nests” for the 0-3 year olds are located on the first floor, with direct access to their own outdoor area with a large sandbox. On the floor above, the “big ones” have their kingdom.
