About PSP Conference 2025 – SUSTAINABILITY

The PSP Conference has established itself as an important platform for exchange and discussion on innovation, start-ups and entrepreneurship, bringing together founders, researchers and decision-makers from various fields. This year’s PSP Conference focuses on sustainability and aims to:

• Spark the imagination of what a sustainable future might look like, drawing on cutting-edge research and innovation in all the diverse fields presented, from bio-inspired materials to renewable carbon, clean energy and more;
• Showcase successful projects and business opportunities in Potsdam, Berlin and Brandenburg;
• Present how partnerships between research and business deliver sustainable, scalable actions at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research IAP;
• Inspire graduates by showing them how PSP alumni are contributing to a sustainable future in their current careers outside of academia.

After last year’s success, also this year:

• Our  »Exhibitpr’s Space« will give you the chance to showcase your own solutions or network with companies from the region – get in touch if you are interested in exhibiting!
• The »Visit to a Research Institute« will offer you the opportunity to learn more about the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research IAP.

About PSP Conference 2025 – SUSTAINABILITY

The PSP Conference is organized by the Standortmanagement Golm GmbH and Potsdam Transfer of the University of Potsdam together with many partners from Brandenburg (Economic Development Agency Brandenburg, High-Performance Center Integration of Biological and Physical-Chemical Material Functions, Economic development of the state capital Potsdam).

PSP Conference 2025 – SUSTAINABILITY is co-funded by the European Union.

At the PSP Conference 2024, held on October 14 and 15 at the Potsdam Science Park, everything revolved around HEALTH. Over two conference days, scientists, startups, experts from the healthcare industry, and innovation promoters connected through lively exchanges on the latest research results, product innovations, and fresh ideas from the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region! In this twelfth edition of the high-tech innovation forum, the program highlighted best practices and collaborations, cutting-edge discussions, science-driven startups, and outstanding projects at the intersections of personalized medicine, artificial intelligence in medicine, and (digital) diagnostics.

Focus topics of the PSP Conference 2024 included: artificial intelligence in medicine, prevention, medical diagnostics and therapy, live science innovation and leap innovation at SPRIND, strengthening transfer in life sciences, the startup pitch – presenting pioneers, and the current edition of the “Brandenburg Health Science Talks” with the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology, Department of Bioanalytics and Bioprocesses (IZI-BB).

PSP Conference 2024 was organized by the Standortmanagement Golm GmbH, the site management of the Potsdam Science Park, and Potsdam Transfer of the University of Potsdam together with a large number of partners from Brandenburg. Partners and supporters of the PSP Conference 2024 were: the WFBB – Economic Development Agency Brandenburg, the Fraunhofer High Performance Center for Functional Integration, the Potsdam Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Economic Development Department of the State Capital Potsdam, the Business Promotion Bank of the Federal State of Brandenburg (ILB) and the HTGF High-Tech Gründerfonds – seed investor for high-tech start-ups. Exhibitors at the PSP Conference 2024 – HEALTH were: CanChip, CDD Vault-Complexity Simplified, Conpro IT Solutions GmbH, Dimler und Karcher Management Consultancy, iQ spaces, Molzym GmbH, Porous GmbH, qualitype GmbH, and Süddeutsche Datenschutzgesellschaft mbH.
