Legal Zoning Plan No.157 “Neue Mitte Golm” – Public Participation

City of Potsdam | Official announcement: Early participation of the public in the urban land-use planning for the development plan no. 157 “Neue Mitte Golm” and the amendment to the land use plan “Neue Mitte Golm” (18/17).

Early public participation from 04.05.2020 to 05.06.2020

The aim of the planning is to create an identity-creating new town centre that does justice to the importance of Golm as a residential, university, commercial and scientific location and brings together the individual development priorities.

According to ยง 3.1 of the Building Code (BauGB), the public must be publicly informed at an early stage about the general objectives and purposes of the planning, significantly different solutions, and the expected effects of the planning; it shall be given the opportunity to express and discuss.

Due to the changed framework conditions caused by the Corona pandemic, a planned event for and with the public may not and cannot take place. Due to the current situation in connection with the corona virus, the possibilities of personal counselling sessions are also more limited than usual. Of course, we are still available for questions and if you need to talk. You can find the contact details under www.potsdam.de/beteiligung.

The documents can be viewed during office hours in the corridor of the Binding Urban Land Use Planning Department (Hegelallee 6-10, House 1, 8th floor). They are also available on the Internet at www.potsdam.de/beteiligung. In addition, you will also find further explanatory information prepared for the planned public event. They are intended to make it easier for you to access the documents.

The early participation of the public on the development plan and the amendment to the land use plan will take place from 04.05.2020 up to and including 05.06.2020.
