RIPAC LABORATORY secures first plot of land on Technology Campus

RIPAC-LABOR GmbH, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of stock-specific vaccines, has acquired the first plot of land in the Technology Campus Golm within the Potsdam Science Park. This is an important step for the company to build its own laboratory and production facility.

What began in 2002 as a one-woman business is now a company with 40 employees. Since 2007, RIPAC-LABOR GmbH has been based in the Golm Innovation Center (GO:IN) in the Potsdam Science Park and has been growing steadily ever since. For this reason, the company has been planning to build its own company building for some time to create space for further expansion. After an intensive negotiation phase, the first milestone has now been reached: the purchase of an 11,000 sqm plot of land on the future Technology Campus in Potsdam-Golm, embedded in the Potsdam Science Park. With the acquisition of the land, the concrete planning of a laboratory and production facility in several possible expansion stages is now underway.

RIPAC-LABOR GmbH focuses on the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases in animals, a focus that is becoming increasingly relevant due to increasing antibiotic resistance worldwide. The company manufactures herd-specific vaccines based on detailed pathogen diagnostics.
