Rooftop Pitch Potsdam 2024 presents innovative startups from the capital region

On June 3, 2024, the 5th Rooftop Pitch Potsdam took place above the rooftops of the Brandenburg state capital in Potsdam’s Wissenschaftsetage. This year, a total of twelve start-ups from science and universities had the opportunity to pitch their innovative start-up concepts to a large number of investors.

This year, start-ups in the life sciences and healthcare sectors continued to be a trend in the capital region: the treatment and research of cancer as well as women’s health and complex diseases in an ageing society are focus areas for innovative start-ups, from biotechnology and digital diagnostics to drug development. As innovations in the healthcare system, founders are developing new SaaS systems for clinics, to optimize personnel management and general satisfaction, through to secure data systems for development and research. A growing number of innovative start-ups from Berlin-Brandenburg are also developing tech and AI-supported solutions for sustainable agriculture and crop yields as well as new perspectives for food production.

Potsdam is not only the city with the highest density of science in Germany, but also an up-and-coming location for entrepreneurship and innovation. The Rooftop Pitch Potsdam acts as a “synapse” of this vibrant start-up ecosystem, which is characterized by its proximity to science, committed business development partners, excellently trained specialists and new talent. We are delighted to pave the way for start-ups with this event and connect them with potential investors.

Organizers and partners of the Rooftop Pitch Potsdam: The Rooftop Pitch Potsdam 2024 is organized by Potsdam Science Park – Standortmanagement Golm GmbH together with many partners and supported by Knappworst Steuerberatung and Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH (WFBB). The partners of the Rooftop Pitch Potsdam 2024 are Potsdam Transfer – University of Potsdam, the state capital Potsdam, the Business Angels Club Berlin-Brandenburg e.V.
