
Hotspot for new companies in the capital region
The innovation centers in the Potsdam Science Park are the new hotspot for companies in the capital region. There is a lot going on at the growing science and business location Potsdam Science Park — with the new companies, new skilled workers are coming to the location and jobs are being created. We are pleased with the positive development and welcome the new companies and start-ups to the location.
GILUPI – in the building: GO:IN 1 – offers a product that allows medical staff to remove cancer cells from the blood. Their goal is for cancer to be a manageable disease in the future that can be lived with and treated.

PoroUS GmbH – in the building: GO:IN 1 – specializes in the development of quantitative ultrasound-based methods for the analysis of cortical bone microstructures as well as the development and production of corresponding devices for use in the medical diagnosis of osteoporosis.

QMEDIS Analytics GmbH – in the building: H-LAB – has been renting around 350 m² on the first floor of the H-LAB office and laboratory complex in the Potsdam Science Park since 1 October. The contract laboratory offers a wide range of analytical and galenic services as well as regulatory support for the pharmaceutical, medtech, cosmetics and food industries. GMP certification is expected in mid-2022. In addition to the development of classic dosage forms, QMEDIS Analytics GmbH focuses in particular on the establishment of innovative and personalized medicines – with the help of state-of-the-art analytical methods.

Remi Health GmbH and MOMA Test Labor GmbH – in the building: GO:IN 1 – are working on innovative self-test methods in the Potsdam Science Park. CMO Dr. Marcus Thuma, CEO Anthony Bielenstein and COO and Marvin Abert have moved into the GO:IN 1 innovation center with their team and will offer individually orderable test sets for the detection of sexually transmitted diseases, so-called STI tests, as well as corona antibody tests from here in the future.

Stöbich technology GmbH – in the building: GO:IN 1 – a company of the Stöbich Group, is now also present in the Potsdam Science Park in addition to its headquarters in Goslar. While Stöbich Brandschutz is active in preventive structural fire protection, Stöbich technology has been developing and selling innovative products for fire protection and safety in the handling of lithium-ion batteries since 2013. In the wake of the pandemic, the portfolio is currently being expanded to include fiber-optic biosensors. These have been developed since 2021 at the Potsdam Science Park site by a team of three, including graduates of the University of Potsdam.
The Biotx.ai GmbH team – in the building: GO:IN 1 – focuses on the development of novel machine learning methods for the analysis of complex biomedical data. The aim is to identify new biomarkers and drug targets in order to be able to develop both diagnostics and therapies more efficiently.
